Freeway Park 50 Years: Legacy of Dance

To celebrate Freeway Park’s 50th anniversary the Freeway Park Association is dedicating July 2026 to honoring choreographer Anna Halprin and the Park’s legacy of dance with a month of free outdoor dance programming including workshops, performances and more!

SERIES SCHEDULE:

• July 18, 7-9 PM — CO- Performance & Party: SHOW14
• July 23, 5 PM — Dance Workshop 1: Body & Space
• July 26, 6-8 PM — Pile Up with Heap Troupe: a Velocity Dance Center residency show
• July 30, 5 PM  — Dance Workshop 2: Scoring – Creative Tools for Artful Living
• Aug 6, 2-6 PM  — Planetary Dance and Potluck: A community ritual for peace
