Friday Night Fun at Seattle Asian Art Museum

Friday, Aug. 14 @ 6 p.m.–9 p.m.

Friday Night Fun opens the doors to the museum for an evening of fun and learning after our usual daytime hours. Everyone is invited to enjoy talks, gallery tours, performances, relaxing music, and delicious cocktails and snacks. This is a chance to visit the galleries for free and gain new perspectives through the eyes of guest curators, community members, and performing artists responding to artworks.

This edition of Friday Night Fun is all about the exhibition, The Kondo Family: Storytellers in Clay. This exhibition traces a century of practice within one of Japan’s most influential artistic families. Works featured touch on themes including environmentalism, grief, and change over the course of three generations.

This is an all-ages event with a cash bar and food for purchase. Alcohol is available for purchase for guests 21+ with a valid ID.

Please RSVP at the website below.
