The former co-organizers of MOSAIC (formerly Ethnic Fest) have introduced a new festival to take its place. I Respect Black Festival honors Tacoma’s rich cultural legacy. It’s intentionally designed to serve as a community violence prevention and intervention initiative while also creating a new platform focused on unity, youth empowerment, education, entrepreneurship, music, faith, and community engagement.
