LoveOly, The Olympia Downtown Alliance, is thrilled to announce the return of LoveOly WinterFest — a festive street celebration on Sunday, Nov. 30, from 10 a.m.–4 p.m. at the corner of Fifth Avenue and Washington Street. LoveOly WinterFest kicks off Downtown for the Holidays, a month-long event presented by WSECU.
Free and family-friendly WinterFest events (Nov. 30):
-Kids holiday crafts with the Hands On Children’s Museum
-Storytelling in the Olympia Ballroom Lobby (11 a.m.–noon and 1–2 p.m.)
-Hot chocolate station hosted by Sofie’s Scoops and Batdorf & Bronson
-Visits with Santa at 222 Market (222 Capitol Way N.)
-Live stage entertainment throughout the day featuring local schools, choirs and more!
-And, don't miss the local Makers Market with handcrafted holiday gifts! Vendors will be located at Fifth Avenue and Washington, selling holiday crafts and gifts.
Sylvester Park Tree Lighting | 4:30 p.m. | Be a part of the countdown as we turn the holiday lights on at Sylvester Park, in partnership with the Department of Enterprise Services (DES).
Twinklefest (Dec. 1–Jan. 5): Vote for your favorite holiday window designs. Winner announced Jan. 6. This program was formerly facilitated by PBIA.
Downtown for the Holidays – Ongoing Festivities:
-LoveOly Shop & Dine – Holiday Edition (Nov. 27–Dec. 24): Collect stickers for every $10 spent and redeem for special gifts.
-Snowfall outside The Washington Center: Experience magical snowfall.
-Nutcracker-themed selfie scenes: Capture holiday photos at themed backdrops.
