Our Maple Valley Gnometown Holiday tree lighting isn't just an event, it's a feeling - where everyone belongs! Event ceremony and activities will be held on the first Thursday of December each year. The official tree lighting ceremony and Mayor’s welcome will kick off the season and the holiday festivities at 6:15pm sharp. We will light the holiday tree at 4 Corners, ring in the season with some holiday music and keep an eye open for a special, chimney visiting guest! Enjoy the holiday performance of the MV Youth Symphony Orchestra, take photos with classic holiday characters, including the "Jolly Old Elf" himself, see his live reindeer, ride the mini train or the horse drawn wagon, try your skills on a mechanical snowboard and visit community vendors offering treats, games and crafts!
We are so happy to host this event for the Maple Valley community! The City of Maple Valley Staff and City Council are wishing everyone a Gnome-Tastic Holiday - where every little gnome is welcome!
