Normandy Park Owl Prowl at Marine View Park

Thursday, Sept. 17 @ 6:30 p.m.–8:30 p.m.

Join Naturalist Kevin O’Malley, from South Sound Nature School, on a guided walk to discover owls. After a brief introduction and owl presentation, the group will search for owls. Tracking and observing owls in the wild will be part of our story. We will learn more about their habitats and behaviors, including what they eat.

This is an all-age, family-friendly, hands-on experience. It starts with an owl pellet dissection & then a slow, quiet walk in the forest. Binoculars are not required. Trails are slightly rugged, gravel or dirt, and include some paved trails. Space is limited; event is FREE!
