Thank you to everyone in the community who helped us design the new playground, which features a new play structure for 5–12 year-olds, with complementary play elements for 2–5 year-olds. We hope you’ll join us to celebrate the new playground at Oakland Madrona Park in partnership with the South Tacoma Neighborhood Council and park neighbors.
The event will include:
-A performance by the Vision Step Team youth dance group
-Light refreshments
-A mini resource fair
-A musical parade around the park with Tacomarama
