Discover the excitement of Park Pop-Ups, a free, drop-in event series perfect for families! Join us on the following Tuesdays between 11:00 AM and 2:00 PM at either Cross Park or Meridian Habitat Park. Each Park Pop-Up features a unique theme, providing hands-on crafts, engaging games, and occasionally featuring special guests. Come along and enjoy a few hours of creative, family-friendly fun in the park!

August 26 - National Cherry Popsicle Day at Meridian Habitat Park
September 9 - Seeds and Storytime with the Library at Meridian Habitat Park.
Join us for a day of creativity and nature as we paint flowerpots and plant wildflower seeds. Enjoy engaging storytimes at 11:30 am and 1:00 pm. Don’t forget to stop by Mimi’s Ice Cream Truck for a sweet treat at reasonable prices!
September 23 - Autumnal Equinox at Cross Park
Celebrate the changing seasons with us by learning about the equinox. Participate in fall-themed games and crafts, including making pinecone bird feeders, completing activity pages, and expressing your creativity with chalk art. Bubble stations will add extra fun to the day!
October 14 - All About Bats! at Cross Park
Discover the fascinating world of bats through educational activities and bat-themed crafts. Enjoy a scenic walk along the Naches Trail to view bat boxes. Warm up with hot cocoa and hot cider as you immerse yourself in bat appreciation.
October 28 - Pumpkin Painting at Meridian Habitat Park
Join us for pumpkin painting. Delight in hot cocoa and apple cider at our refreshment station, and participate in exciting Halloween games. Collect stamps on a punch card for a chance to win a prize!
November 18 - Giving Thanks at Cross Park
Celebrate gratitude as we gather for hot cocoa and apple cider. Create a leaf rubbing craft and a personal gratitude jar to take home. Engage in festive games to round out this day of giving thanks
December 9 - Let it Snow at Cross Park
