The Saturday before Thanksgiving, venture down to Carkeek Park with your family to share a true Northwest experience: local salmon spawning. Throughout November, Piper’s Creek in Carkeek Park is home to one of Seattle’s most viewer-friendly salmon runs. We will celebrate their homecoming with activity booths, music, a salmon scavenger hunt for the kids, an appearance by Bert the Salmon, food and drinks and more.
