Puranava: Indian Cultural and Heritage Festival

Saturday, May 9 @ 11 a.m.–7 p.m.

Puranava is a vibrant, family-friendly cultural celebration that honors and preserves heritage through arts, food, and community engagement. Designed as an immersive and educational experience, it brings audiences of all ages together to experience culture as a living expression; shaped by tradition, training, and storytelling. By blending classical and folk forms with thoughtful contemporary interpretation, Puranava fosters cultural pride, deepens understanding, and creates meaningful shared experiences across generations.

Puranava serves as a living platform where traditions; music, dance, storytelling, crafts, and culinary arts; are celebrated, passed on, and meaningfully experienced. Guided by a long-term vision, it is being established as a recurring cultural landmark that strengthens community bonds and sustains artistic traditions.

Following its grand success in cities such as Houston, Atlanta, and the San Francisco Bay Area, Puranava is now coming to Seattle. Envisioned to become one of the largest cultural celebrations of its kind in the Pacific Northwest, the Seattle edition brings together families, students, artists, cultural leaders, and community organizations in a shared celebration of heritage and creativity.
