Seattle Opera Family Day

Sunday, Oct. 26 @ 2 p.m.–5 p.m.

Recurring Event (See all)

Join us for our upcoming Family Day performances, Sunday, May 10, 2026 for Carmen! For this specially designated performance, students ages 18 and under pay only $25 for almost any seat.* Family Days also feature special student-oriented activities before the performance and an exclusive Youth Lounge during intermission.

One of the world’s most popular operas ever! Bizet’s famous music accompanies a lethal dance of lust, love, and survival that only stops when the struggle for freedom ends. “Opera’s guilty pleasure” (The Seattle Times) returns in a “gorgeous production” (Seattle Magazine) featuring mezzo-sopranos J’Nai Bridges and Sasha Cooke.

Performance Time: 3 hours and 30 minutes including two intermissions

Movie-style rating of PG-13

We recommend bringing children who can sit comfortably for at least an hour at a time at the theater. Performances are full-length operas.

No babes in arms for Family Day. All adult and family day tickets must be in the same section. Please read further ticketing information below.*
