CMSC’s Sensory Exploration is a special monthly program for families with children on the autism spectrum, children with sensory processing disorders, and children with other developmental disabilities. During this time the Children’s Museum provides these families exclusive access to the Museum.

  • Children ages 1-12 years are welcome and must be accompanied by an adult caregiver.
  • Sensory Kits with sound-dampening headphones, sunglasses, chewies, and fidgets.
  • Enjoy a safe and understanding environment.
  • Play during a quieter, low-lighted, less crowded time.

  • Pre-registration is no longer required – session is free to attend.
