Steel Magic Northwest proudly presents its annual season-pinnacle concert, this year themed “The Sound of Sunshine.” Featuring all three combined youth steel orchestras (Steel Mojo, Steel Dragons, and the renowned, 30-player Pan Wizards Steel Orchestra), the concert welcomes the sun back to the Pacific Northwest! An upbeat, fun program with universal appeal – everything from classical, ragtime, reggae, calypso, samba, pop, video game themes… you name it. Where else will you hear works by Aram Khachaturian, Lord Kitchener, Earth, Wind & Fire, Scott Joplin, and Kool & the Gang in the same show?
There’s something for everyone in this uplifting musical display.
Audience members new to these groups will be amazed at the level of musicianship, and the sophistication of the music.
