Summer Nature Walks at Lake Sammamish State Park

Sunday, July 12 @ 12 p.m.–2 p.m.

Recurring Event (See all)

Summer Monthly Nature Walks is a series of two guided forest walks at Lake Sammamish State Park. Participants will learn about the park’s unique landscape, ongoing restoration and research efforts, and the many plants and animals that call the forest home. Each walk is designed to encourage curiosity, conversation, and connection with the natural environment. These walks are co-led by staff from

Washington State Parks and CoSEE undergraduate student intern Savannah Greenwalt. CoSEE also has a partnership with Friends of Lake Sammamish State Park who plan restoration events as well as attend Nature Walks. Walks take place on the second Sunday of the summer months, July and August. All ages and experience levels are welcome, including leashed pets!
