Summer Stage: ‘Ride the Cyclone’

Join us for a thrilling presentation of Ride the Cyclone, brought to life by the talented young artists of Olympia Family Theater’s Summer Stage program!

Over the course of two intensive weeks, two casts of dedicated teen performers have immersed themselves in every aspect of this unforgettable musical. Alongside them, our teen Design Camp has created the costumes, props, and scenic elements that bring the world of the show to life, while our teen Technical Theater team have designed and are running the lights and sound. This production is truly a celebration of youth creativity and collaboration!

“Ride the Cyclone follows the members of the St. Cassian High School Chamber Choir whose lives are cut tragically short in a roller coaster accident. In a mysterious limbo, they are given one extraordinary chance: each tells their story in hopes of being chosen to return to life. Equal parts hilarious, heartfelt, and thought provoking, this cult-favorite musical explores what it means to live, dream, and leave your mark on the world.”
