Tết in Seattle honors Vietnamese and Vietnamese American communities through the 29th annual celebration of Tết, the Vietnamese Lunar New Year. Seattleites from all backgrounds will have fun while immersing themselves in Vietnamese heritage, culture and traditions.
2025 marks the Year of the Snake, and this year's festival includes:
FOOD
Cultural Foods from Local Food Vendors, kids and adult eating competitions, and a “Báhn Tết” (sticky rice cake) wrapping competition
ARTS
Lion Dances, including Mak Fai Lion Dance, Gia Đình Phật Tử Vạn Hạnh Lion Dance, and Gia Đình Phật Tử Liễu Quán Lion Dance
SERVICES
Health Fair offering free services and screenings for eye health, osteoporosis, and more
