Lordy lordy, look who’s 40! Local grocery favorite, Town & Country Markets Ballard is celebrating its 40th anniversary on Saturday, September 19, from 12–4 PM.
Party like it’s 1986 and enjoy complimentary cake, coffee, and tasty samples all afternoon while jamming to 80s music with a live DJ. The fun doesn’t stop there – get ready for a Jimothy scavenger hunt through the market, and a “sharing memories” wall of historic market photos, where a live poet will turn your memories into a spontaneous poem on the spot! An old Ballard Market favorite, the hot prime rib sandwich, will make a comeback at the fundraiser lunch, with all proceeds benefiting the Ballard Senior Center. Plus, temporary tattoos, cornhole, and more!
