Springtime in Washington isn’t complete without the Washington State Apple Blossom Festival, the state’s oldest and most cherished annual celebration! For over a century, this beloved festival has brought together locals and visitors alike for eleven days of unforgettable fun – a vibrant mix of parades, carnival rides, games, delicious food, live entertainment, and family-friendly events. This year’s festival runs from April 23 – May 3.
Carnival: Home to America’s seventh largest carnival, families can enjoy dozens of carnival rides, classic games, and plenty of sweet treats throughout the festival.
Parades: There are two parades over the course of the festival: the Grand Parade and the Youth Parade. The Grand Parade, on May 2, starts off with a fun run and features marching bands, equestrian units, dazzling floats and much more. The Youth Parade, one of the largest children’s parades in the state, will take place on April 25 and features all sorts of fun floats and costumes.
Arts & Crafts Fair: A must-see three-day event running May 1–3, the fair features over 140 artists and crafters showcasing handmade treasures in jewelry, pottery, clothing, toys, and more.
Live Entertainment: Enjoy performances every day of the festival, including music, dance performances, and family-friendly shows.
Food Fair: With more than 20 food booths serving everything from barbeque to crepes and funnel cakes, there’s something to satisfy every craving.
