We Will Dance: A Celebration of Resilience, Resistance, and Community

Saturday, May 30 @ 2:30 p.m.–4 p.m.

The Tacoma Refugee Choir invites you to an afternoon of music, dancing, and joy. This is a celebration for everyone.

Through song and story, we will honor the journeys that have shaped us and the communities that sustain us. Our musical traditions hold powerful lessons in perseverance and hope, showing us that even in the face of life’s uncertainties, we can move forward together.

This special event features performances by:

Tacoma Refugee Choir
Roger Rigor, a Philippine-born musician bringing the roots of Original Pilipino Music to life
Tumbarrancho Venezuela, a Seattle-based group sharing Venezuelan songs and traditions
More guest artists to be announced…
Together, we’ll celebrate the cultures and traditions of our community centered in music. Come ready to clap, sway, sing along, and dance with us!

Note: Our events are free to attend but not free to produce. If you value our arts programming, please consider making a donation with your ticket reservation and contributing to our Spring Concert Fundraiser.
