The Children’s Museum of Skagit County creates a winter wonderland every year at The Shops at Burlington on the first full weekend in December! There are activities for children, families, teens and adults – indoor and outdoor fun for everyone! Winter Wonderland activities are FREE and we are encouraging local families as well as those from all over the Pacific Northwest to come and enjoy the fun!
There’s something for everyone, every day! Indoor and outdoor activities, special guests, lots to see and do. It’s December in the Northwest, so layer up, put your wellies on, bring some dry socks and get ready to have some fun outdoors!
What can you expect this year? Outdoor fun! Santa pictures -- bring your camera or have your phone ready! Live reindeer! Huge bouncy inflatables! Lots of characters! Arts and crafts and face painting! Christmas Tree Lighting on Saturday! It's three exciting days of free family-friendly activities! Invite your family and friends because everyone is welcome!
Get your free wristband before you start each day of play – a new wristband is required each day. The event activities are free, but the wristband helps us to keep track of how many people are coming each day, which helps us with organizing and funding the next year’s event!
*Please note that admission to the Children’s Museum of Skagit County is not included with the free wristband. Regular admission rates apply.*
**DUE TO CROWD SIZE AND PROXIMITY – MASKS ARE REQUIRED FOR ALL WINTER WONDERLAND ATTENDEES 5+ YEARS OF AGE, REGARDLESS OF VACCINATION STATUS**
