The 4-day festival returns to Bellevue with a stellar lineup celebrating bluegrass music from the West and honoring music from the first-ever Wintergrass in 1994. 33 bands on 5 stages, 60+ workshops and endless jamming comfortably fit under one roof at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in downtown Bellevue. The lineup explores every aspect of bluegrass and related acoustic music and features internationally acclaimed artists and emerging artists alike.
The Music- Del McCoury and David Grisman perform Friday. Iconic band Seldom Scene will play Friday and Saturday, marking 46 years of their brand of universally appealing Bluegrass and Americana music. Visiting artists from Sweden and Canada, Vasen and The Mammals will contribute to the international flavor of the festival. Stalwarts like Laurie Lewis & the Right Hands and Mark O’Connor will anchor the festival in their bluegrass foundation. As always, there are sure to be surprises, like the remarkable Rushad Eggleston, Matuto and Jeff Scroggins & Colorado. Sample the local microbrews, wines and hard ciders at the Karaoke Room while our bands perform. Jam Suites are plentiful. Festival goers are welcome to visit our Jam Suites and play along with others.
