Grr-ific ideas for a Daniel Tiger party
Do you have a preschooler who loves the show “Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood“? Whether your birthday kid enjoys the “Neighborhood of Make Believe” or just likes to grrrrr with Daniel, a Daniel Tiger birthday party theme is sure to be a crowd-pleaser. Serve up Tiger-tastic Tiger Tails and Tiger Cake, dress up like Daniel and friends with felt masks and tiger crowns and play a game of pin the tail on Tigey for a grr-ific party.
Printable invitation
Head on over to PBS.org for a variety of free printables. Choose a Grr-ific invitation in a 5×7 or 4×6 size and then use your home printer to print the invites on cardstock. The site also offers printable thank-you notes and certificates for the birthday kid.
Trolley dessert stand
PBS.org features a fabulous DIY Trolley Dessert Stand made from boxes and poster board. They even offer printable “windows” with favorite characters to show Daniel and friends catching a ride. Use this as a dessert stand, place to keep birthday cards or just as decor to set your scene.
