September is peak harvest time. Families are out picking apples and planning their annual visit to the pumpkin patch. And if you’re anything like me, the crisp turn in the weather and earlier sunsets triggers an urge to wander the aisles of Trader Joe’s for some seasonal comfort. It’s actually my favorite time of year to stock up on cozy delights.
From the moment I walked through the doors incredible autumn treats were all around me. As with any season change at Trader Joe’s, there are many new and exciting products hitting the floor this fall — along with the triumphant return of a few of my favorites — including fall-scented candles, rich butternut squash mac and cheese, apple pie spread and so much more. Now’s the perfect time to stock up, because you know these popular products won’t last.
Seasonal doughnuts
Get yourself a package of delicious cinnamon powdered sugar doughnuts from Trader Joe’s to savor a classic taste of the season. These mini donuts (about two bites each) have a dense cakey texture and are coated in a sweet cinnamon-spiced powdered sugar. Dunk one in your coffee in the morning, or have a few waiting in the kitchen with a cup of cocoa for an after-school snack. Yum!
Fall-flavor mac and cheese
This bestseller is back! Creamy cheese mixed with butternut squash bring a fall flavor to this kid classic. It’s got 23 grams of protein, and since you just pop it in the microwave it’ll be ready to feed your hungry crew in minutes. Can’t beat that!
Scented hand soap
Who says food gets to have all the special fall fun? Lather up with this aromatic hand soap that captures the season in a bottle. You’ll be feeling the fall vibes while keeping cold and flu germs at bay.
Harvest chocolates
It’s no secret that Trader Joe’s has the best selection of chocolates and candy. Pick up these cute harvest themed chocolates on your next shopping trip. They look great on the table as little seasonal decorations, and taste even better.
Rosemary and Sea Salt chips
These simple, delicious chips pair just as beautifully with cheeses, charcuterie or a glass of wine as they do with a sandwich or burger. Don’t wait to pick up a bag (or two or three) as they will only be around through the end of autumn!
Fall scented candles
If you really want to get in the fall spirit, these candles are for you. The promise of a flickering candle and the soft sent of spiced pear, falling leaves or vanilla woods make the earlier sunsets something to look forward to.

Even dogs can get in on the fall-flavor action at Trader Joe’s! These dog treats come in nice small bites, and my dog vouches for their yummy flavor and texture.
Apple pie spread
Apple pie is one of my favorite fall foods, but I don’t always have time to make one. This Apple Pie Spread lets me enjoy a little pie goodness without all the work. I like to put it on a piece of toast in the morning and enjoy an autumn moment while drinking my coffee.
Spooky snacks
It’s hard to separate fall from Halloween, and these chips are so cute I just couldn’t resist! Pour your crew a bowl full of crunchy ghosts and bats as an after-school snack. They are cute, crunchy and even gluten free.
Drinks for the grown-up
If you want some fall grown-up-only drinks, Trader Joe’s has more than a few festive options. Enjoy a trendy espresso martini with a fall inspired hint of pumpkin spice, or some spiced apple-flavored whiskey at your next fall gathering.
Tiny apple pies
I am a fan of all the ways to eat apple pie in the autumn. These tiny pies are just enough to hit the spot and are ready without all the work. Toss one in your kid’s lunch for a special treat.
Seasonal décor
Harvest season décor is in full swing at Trader Joe’s right now. Don’t miss the generous bouquets of colorful favorites, including purple and maroon mums. Armfuls of sunflowers complement the season’s changing colors and are accented by the selection of holiday cards available near the checkout.
