Dr. Dana Suskind
Dana Suskind, M.D., is a pediatric surgeon, researcher and New York Times bestselling author of “Human Raised: Nurturing Connection, Curiosity, & Lifelong Learning in the Age of AI.” She is the founder and co-director of the TMW Center for Early Learning + Public Health and a professor of surgery and pediatrics at the University of Chicago.
Suskind is a leading voice on early childhood development and the impact of AI on children. Drawing on her unique perspective as a surgeon who harnesses technology to restore hearing and as a researcher who champions human connection, she explores how AI can enhance rather than replace human relationships. Her work has been featured in The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, The Atlantic, NPR and The Economist.
