Super STEM Camp

Winner: Pacific Science Center

A much-loved local institution, Pacific Science Center earned your votes for its camps focused on STEM topics, including marine science, cooking, robotics and even a science poetry jam! You gushed over the “awesome, intriguing science curriculum” that has campers studying the science of amusement parks, how to be a meteorologist and slough survival, among other themes that will make grown-ups wish they could go to camp. Kids dig the hands-on nature of camps, and you appreciate how the science center makes learning so enjoyable. A wide array of camps welcome kids from pre-K through eighth grade.

Finalists

Every Girls Rock Math summer camp integrates visual arts, music and language arts, making math an awesome experience for every camper. In a testimonial on the camp’s website, one camper wishes “this camp would go on forever.”

Kids and teens interested in becoming coders, developers, game engineers and designers love ID Tech camps. Pick from a wide variety of topics and locations, including Bellevue College, Eton School, the University of Puget Sound and the University of Washington, on both its Seattle and Bothell campuses.

The founders of Bellevue’s Russian School of Mathematics (RSM) know a mathematical mind can be built. Parents rave about how RSM helps kids in kindergarten through high school construct a solid math foundation built on understanding over memorization.

Steve & Kate’s Camp is known for its convenient, any-day enrollment options and the daily lunch it provides. You also love it for its innovative STEM programming, which focuses on digital creativity, such as robotics, coding, music, film and more.
