Free, free, free, free!
You need stuff to do with your crew but you can't be out spending a boatload of money every day to do it, right? Luckily, there's lots of free stuff to do with kids around town. It's good stuff, too! And did I mention free?
- Our local libraries are not just treasure troves of books, they offer awesome hands-on activities and engaging performances for kids. They're also... don't tell... educational. And you guessed it, they're all free.
- Get up and boogie to the tunes or stretch out on your blanket; either way, there are tons of free outdoor summer concerts around Seattle, the Eastside and North Sound. Tip: There are both day time and evening shows!
- Families will love the array of free outdoor concerts and movies around the South Sound. Bring your blanket and picnic and relish being entertained outside.
- On low-tide days, comb a local beach to get a close look at our some of our undersea neighbors — with beach naturalists on hand, you can learn all about your finds and what to do to help them survive.
