Skamania Lodge, overlooking the Columbia River Gorge, offers lots of outdoor fun amidst 175 acres of incredible natural beauty. You can stay in the main lodge, or for an extra special splurge, reserve the tree house that sleeps four — it's set among the tall Douglas firs.
Skamania Lodge is open now with extra safety and cleaning policies in place. Lodge adventures, including zip line tours, the aerial course and axe throwing (!?) are open. The three on-site hiking trails — Lake Loop trail, Creek Loop trail and Gorge Loop fitness trail — are open for one-way foot traffic. The hotel offers free bike rentals, and you can check out outdoor equipment like soccer balls, Frisbees or a corn hole game. All the equipment is sanitized between users.
The restaurant opened for dining at 50-percent capacity Friday, June 12. All employees and servers wear face masks.
The spa and fitness center (including the swimming pool, indoor and outdoor hot tubs and saunas) are currently closed. The golf course is closed until September for construction. Book a room online.
