Our favorite snack for kids
Who can argue with the winner of this category, the Chili & Lime Flavored Rolled Corn Tortilla Chips? These crunchy chips are like Doritos 2.0, and their rolled shape makes them great for dipping in black beans to add a little protein to your snack. Our favorite runner-up from the snack category has to be the Organic Corn Chip Dippers. For young kids who love a good chip-dip, these are a convenient and tasty option.
Our favorite sweet treat for kids
Having a sweet treat in the freezer is kind of a must during these trying times of constant change. That’s why we love Trader Joe’s Hold the Cone! Mini Ice Cream Cones, the winner of the sweet treat category this year, and Sublime Ice Cream Sandwiches, the runner-up on the sweet treat list.
Our favorite entrée for kids
We’ll take anything on the entrée list, thank you very much. From the winning Butter Chicken With Basmati Rice to the Chicken Tikka Masala runner-up, TJ’s always has our back in the convenient-dinner department. That said, if we had to choose our favorite, there’s nothing more comforting and kid-pleasing than Joe's Diner Mac 'n Cheese.
Our favorite cheese for kids
Can we take a moment to thank TJ’s for including this all-important category in their awards competition? The runners-up are all cheeses with style: Baked Lemon Ricotta, Syrah Soaked Toscano, Blueberry & Vanilla Chèvre and Brie. For kids, you can't beat the new inductee to the Trader Joe's Product Hall of Fame: Unexpected Cheddar. It’s the most versatile option, and sure to please even the pickiest of kiddos.
Our favorite vegan/vegetarian food for kids
if you’re looking for a dinner recommendation, you can’t beat Vegetable Fried Rice or the Chicken-less Mandarin Orange Morsels, which is a winner winner, chicken dinner ... without the chicken.
