The fall is a fantastic time to ride the train. Join Snoopy, and Charlie Brown aboard The Great Pumpkin Patch Express. Passengers will ride the train and read the book ‘It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown’ on their journey to the Most Sincere Pumpkin Patch, where guests are greeted by Charlie Brown and Snoopy. Family-friendly activities include face-painting, crafts, temporary tattoos, coloring pages, lawn games, PEANUTS™ gang photo ops, and trick-or-treating through a historic logging camp. Each child may also select their very own pumpkin to take home during the hour layover at the Pumpkin Patch. Children and adults are encouraged to wear their Halloween costumes for the trip!
Standard Class train coaches are Tacoma Rail cars representative of the 1950’s era Amtrak passengers cars offering reserved seating in a climate-controlled environment with comfortable front-facing upholstered seats in paired rows. Ride in style in First Class aboard midcentury 1950s Tacoma Rail and 1940s Olympian Hiawatha coaches from the Milwaukee Road. These booth and table-and-chair style coaches allow for parties of 4 to sit facing each other with reserved seating in a climate-controlled environment. First Class tickets include the additional amenities of a dedicated car attendant, complimentary snacks and beverages, and tabletop activities for the youngsters – and young at heart!
Two excursions are available on Saturdays and Sundays at 11:00am and 3:00pm.
