In partnership with MoPOP and the opening of their new Marvel exhibit, Crash Kids: Superhero participants will embark on a movie production quest to create their best Superhero films over the course of a day.
Crash Kids (ages 9 to 12) engages youth with a meaningful approach to cinema production. Participants receive hands-on experience in creating a film (writing, filming, acting, and editing) with a professional media educator in less than eight hours.
This program will begin and conclude at the JBL Theater inside MoPOP, but the creative process and filming will take place across the Seattle Center Campus.
Access to Marvel: Universe of Superheroes exhibit: The students will receive a complimentary admission to MoPOP and spend the first 45 minutes exploring the Marvel: Universe of Superheroes exhibit to inspire their films.
