This workshop will begin with a guided art adventure in SAM's galleries exploring Calder: In Motion, The Shirley Family Collection.
With the guidance of teaching artist Rachel Kotkin, families will then use Calder's innovative artwork as inspiration to create a series of miniature sculptures with a variety of materials.
Tiny Tots Workshops are designed to tailor to the needs of families with children ages 2–5.
Programs and activities related to Calder: In Motion are generously supported by the Kim and Jon Shirley Foundation.
Tickets for one adult and up to two kids are $35 for the general public and $20 for SAM members. Additional participants are $10 each, members included.
