Come to the garden for a free International Youth Day Celebration!
1. Community stewardship event from 10am-2pm: Kids & their parents, and all other community volunteers are welcome to help with simple gardening tasks such as weeding, mulching, and watering.
2. Free Family Garden Class from 11am-12noon: featuring a guided Discovery Your Garden tour, a take home nature craft, and more!
3. Free Family Garden Day from 12noon-2pm, featuring drop-in garden and nature exploration activities for the whole family, such as worm bin and log pile exploration, nature art and coloring pages.
All ages and abilities are welcome, and no registration is necessary. Volunteers are needed to assist Children's Garden Committee members with this event, and all Master Gardeners and Seattle P-Patchers can count their hours towards their annual program requirements.
