Learn more about Korea, the 2018 Winter Olympics host country, by seeing this humorous story about a young tiger. Thinking he is the fiercest in all of Korea, a tiger ventures down a mountainside in search of food. Stopping at a farmhouse, he mistakenly thinks that a dried persimmon (kotgum) is a frightening creature.  Experience the rich culture and traditions of Korea through the misadventures of the silly tiger.
                                                   
This story is performed with tabletop Bunraku, rod and shadow puppets designed by Brian Kooser. Set design by Jean Enticknap and painted by Allyn Baehr. Cultural advisors for project are Hyeon-soog Chang and Andrew Kim. Amy Escobar, Zane Exactly and Andre Nelson are puppeteers in the show directed by Jean Enticknap.
