CHILD is a full-day academic and therapeutic program for children ages 3 to 17. We offer an alternative to public school for those in need of more academic and social support services. CHILD provides social, emotional, developmental and neurological strategies for children with challenging learning differences and behavior disorders. Our goal is to help students develop the essential skills that are critical to success. We use Collaborative Problem Solving as our model of care. Many children we serve are coping with combinations of disabilities that must be addressed holistically. In addition to school programming, we offer occupational, speech and language, and emotional and behavioral therapy; life skills training; and academic support services. These services are also available to children not enrolled in our school programs. Our mission is to provide innovative school programs and therapies which promote social, emotional and academic development for children with special needs.
