Susan Elderkin

Susan Elderkin is the author of “Best Hikes with Kids: Western Washington,” published by Mountaineers Books. She has worked for  a  number of nonprofit environmental organizations, including the Washington Trails Association. She is a board member for Braided  River and active in her children’s schools.  She lives in Seattle with her husband, Jon Stier, and their two children.
