African American Folktales and Legends for All Ages

Saturday, Feb. 28 @ 2 p.m.–3 p.m.

Acclaimed storyteller Eva Abram, creator of Rainwater Storytelling, brings folktales and legends to life in celebration of Black History Month.

Join us and learn about the histories, contributions, and lived experiences of those around us as we uplift community voices and explore stories that act as mirrors of our own lives and windows into experiences different from our own. By listening to African-American folktales from Rainwater Storytelling, including tales of Brer Rabbit and Friends, hear the different concerns of people both past and present and what lessons were best encoded into legends and lore.
