roundup of images of Trader Joe's holiday products

The sleigh bells are ringing, the snow (or at least the rain-drenched pavement) is glistening, and the hardworking elves at Trader Joe’s are stocking the shelves with all manner of holiday goodies. Each year, the beloved grocery wonderland rolls out a new lineup of festive goodies, and we’ve rounded up the best of the bunch to brighten your season.

Break-Apart Chocolate Reindeer, $3.99

New this year, these absolutely adorable little guys went straight in my cart as stocking stuffers the second I saw them. Displayed in gift-ready boxes, the milk chocolate shells are shaped like sweet chubby reindeer, and filled with red gummy Rudolph-nose candies. They’re almost too cute to eat, but I’m sure the kids can take on the challenge!

Milk Chocolate Advent Calendar, $1.49

These super-popular Advent calendars sell out with lightning speed every year, and with good reason: The price is unbeatable, the chocolate is delicious and the themes are invariably ultra-cute. This year, find them with sweet sloths, playful tropical penguins, cute ribbon bows and other irresistible designs!

Totally Cheeseball Cheese Spread, $4.99

This isn’t your grandma’s cheeseball (but she’d approve). Trader Joe’s has turned the vintage party staple into an easy-to-spread dip packed with almonds and rich cheesy flavor. Spread it on fancy crackers, dip it with veggies or eat it out of the tub with a spoon (we won’t tell!).

Sleigh Ride Cookies, $3.99

We love holiday baking, but sometimes you just want the cookie without the flour-covered kitchen counters. These seasonal newcomers to the TJ’s cookie aisle may just be the next best thing. The sweet minty bites are like a mash-up of Christmas flavors in cookie form: crushed up Candy Cane Jo-Jos (a TJ’s holiday take on the classic chocolate sandwich cookie) and candy cane pieces for a fun crunch, ready to dip into a glass of milk or hot cocoa.

Sparkling Cranberry Ginger Brew, $4.99

For kiddos, pregnant mamas and anyone else opting for nonalcoholic sips this season, this new refreshing sparkler in conveniently sized cans makes for a delicious mocktail or festive toast option. Tart cranberry and ginger keep it on holiday theme and not overly sweet; serve in a flute and garnish with a sprig of rosemary and fresh cranberries for extra flair!

Can of Corn Scented Candle, $5.99

Trader Joe’s is clearly having some holiday fun with this one. Packaged to look exactly like a can of creamed corn, this cheeky “can-dle” smells like warm cornbread and makes a perfect gag gift or stocking stuffer. Set it out on the counter and wait for the double-takes; kids and adults alike will get a giggle out of it.

Baklava Pistachio and Cashew Pastries, $9.99

Those who already know and love baklava will be delighted to see a Trader Joe’s version of this popular Middle Eastern pastry, and those who haven’t tried it are in for an exotic treat. Imported from Jordan, the pretty purple gift box includes four varieties of the sweet and flaky phyllo-based pastry, soaked in honey syrup and layered with cashews and pistachios in bite-size shapes.

Trader Joe’s seasonal body butter releases are eagerly awaited each year by beauty-savvy shoppers. Beloved for their rich moisturizing formulas and yummy fragrances, these butters rival top brand names for a fraction of the price. This winter’s trio does not disappoint: The perfect gift for teachers, tired moms or picky teens, this beautifully packaged set comes in three light and lovely new scents like plum and vanilla almond. Gift it, or keep it all to yourself.

This cool candle set reimagines the Advent calendar concept, but for the rest of the year! Nicely boxed, it makes for a fun Christmas gift for those who have everything.

Felted Wool Garland and Wreath, $8.99–$16.99

Trader Joe’s brings out some version of felted wool holiday decor each year, and we are here for the simple, nostalgic vibe, Nordic-inspired style and total resistance to kid destruction (plus, it doubles as a toy). This season, we’ve spotted green-leafed garlands and wreaths, dotted with red and white berries; they’re a cute addition to your porch, mantel or playroom.
