The Discovery Park Summer Beach Shuttle is back for the 2026 season! The free shuttle operates on Saturdays from June 20 through September 5, from 11 AM to 5:30 PM.
The shuttle loops between the East, North, and South Beach parking lots at Discovery Park, arriving at each stop approximately every 30 minutes, with the final departure from the beach at 5:15 PM.
Allowed on the shuttle: People, service animals, and strollers.
Not allowed: Pets, coolers, surfboards, paddleboards, other large items.
Donate to support the shuttle! The Summer Beach Shuttle is powered by your generous donations. Donations accepted online through the Associated Recreation Council at Discovery Park Beach Shuttle.
Reminder: The Discovery Park Visitor Center is currently closed due to flood damage. From June 18 through September 6, an information booth will be available on-site Thursdays through Sundays from 10 AM to 6 PM, based on staff availability.
Please note: There will be no information booth on June 19, and the booth will be open on July 4.
