Mother’s Day pampering
Got a mama who loves to take a nice hot bath after a long day of work and parenting? Consider transforming her Mother’s Day into a home spa day, beginning with this great recipe for a delicious-smelling sugar scrub from Melanie at Reasons to Skip the Housework. Requiring only a handful of ingredients, this colorful bath scrub can be made in bulk to treat all of the lovely ladies in the family.

Then, have them make a pretty pollen insert with some yellow craft paper. Finally, glue the whole thing onto some floral wire to create a personalized paper flower.

Jen at Our Family of Seven has a neat tutorial on how to make this beautiful flower vase out of tree branches. To get started on your own DIY vase, have your children gather up their chosen branches and twigs, help with some hot glue gun action and then adorn with some beautiful spring flowers.
