5 Indoor Sports for Families to Try This Winter

Still more wiggles to get out?

Looking for even more ways to stay active indoors during cold and dark winter days? Check out these cool lists for working up a sweat with the whole family in tow:

  • Splash, splish, swim, spray and slide in one of the Puget Sound area’s many heated indoor pools and aquatic centers.
  • You might not work up a sweat bowling, but it is a fun and active activity that lots of ages can do together. Check out two newer, swanky and family-friendly bowling alleys in our region: Bowlero in Lynnwood and Ocean5 in Gig Harbor.
  • Bring back your teen days, dust off a skateboard (or rent one!) and join your lil’ skater at a local skatepark. While many of these skateparks are outdoors, two are indoors and serve in any weather.
