College students can't be wrong about sugar-filled treats, right? Gobble up a cupcake and then burn off the sugar with a romp in Wright Park.

Hello, Cupcake

This sweet shop is a favorite among UW Tacoma students. Yelp reviewers praise the shop’s cute atmosphere and friendly service. Hello, Cupcake offers both regular-size and mini cupcakes in a variety of flavors with seasonal favorites. The pink champagne flavor is highly recommended!

Wright Park

Wright Park is arguably the prettiest park in Tacoma. With walking and biking trails, a spray park in summer, a horseshoe pit, play structures and more, this park is always worth a visit! The park's lovely W.W. Seymour Conservatory hosts a monthly story time for kids, and makes for a fun place to explore on any day. Wright Park is also a Summer Playground Program location, a summer program for school-age kids that includes free lunch.
