Be kind to your web-footed friends! The Lacey Rotary Club is selling tickets to the Duck Dash, which includes a Food and Fun Fair, on June 7. Each ticket buys you a rubber duck to drop into the Deschutes River and cheer on to the finish line. Treat dad to airplane aerobatics galore at the Olympic Air Show on June 14–15. Watch the special USO air show addition on Saturday, enjoy food booths, a beer garden for the adults and special military band music. Change into your stretchy pants, because you are going to eat more than you can imagine at the annual Taste of Tacoma June 27–29. While the focus is food from local restaurants, with no taste costing more than $6, there are kids’ activities and entertainment, too! Get pedaling! On Sunday, June 29, the Tour de Pierce Bike Ride winds through the scenic back roads of Pierce County, all in the name of fun, fitness and bicycle safety. Choose between a 12-, 30- or 50-mile route. 7 a.m.–4 p.m. $12 per person, $30 for a family of four.
