Northwest Film Forum's Children's Film Festival is all kinds of awesome. You can see children's films from around the world, including the Northwest premiere of Russian animation The Ugly Duckling (Jan. 29, Feb. 4 and 6) and tons of other feature-length animated and live-action movies and shorts.
Dive in. Take a chance. These aren't films that pander to kids; these are interesting, complex and beautiful (and oftentimes very funny) stories that everyone in your group will love. The festival is on Jan. 28-Feb. 6; show times and dates vary.
