The upper Skagit River hosts one of the largest visible populations of wintering bald eagles in the lower forty-eight states.
The Skagit River Bald Eagle Interpretive Center is open weekends through January, offering watershed stewardship education and general information for Eastern Skagit County bald eagle watchers and all winter visitors.
In addition to information on viewing bald eagles along the Skagit River, the Center offers Guided Walks on select Saturdays and Sundays, please see schedule below. Walks are subject to change, so please check the website to verify or call 360-853-7626.
