ParentMap's Lecture Series welcomes Adele Diamond, Ph.D. presenting her talk entitled Bright Young Minds: Early Learning, Play and Executive Functions.

To be successful takes creativity, flexibility, self-control, and discipline — central to these are the brain’s executive functions. Dr. Diamond is one of the world’s leading researchers on the development of executive functions. Her work scientifically illustrates the educational power of play, music and physical exercise.

In her lecture, Dr.Diamond will explore the latest research on learning and what parents and educators can do to help build strong executive functions in children from an early age.
