Each child receives a rod/reel and event shirt to keep, as well as time to catch/keep up to 2 fish.
This is a Fishing Kids event designed to provide all children the opportunity to enjoy a quality outdoor recreational experience through the sport of fishing.
Thanks to the generous donations of several organizations, businesses and community groups, children ages 5 to 14 years old will have an opportunity to receive a hands-on fishing lesson from volunteer anglers. Participants will also have the opportunity to take part in water safety, boating and natural resource demonstrations.
