Join Friends of the Cedar River Watershed and King County Parks for a riparian restoration project on the Cedar River, followed by free fly-fishing workshops for all skill levels, guest speakers, and a delicious lunch. Volunteers will improve habitat by removing invasive plants and moving weed suppression fabric. Enjoy sustainably-sourced smoked salmon and BBQ fare (including vegetarian options), and learn from local specialists who will be providing casting and tying demonstrations, one-on-one lessons for all skill levels, and an aquatic Insect Identification lab. We'll also have casting games and raffle prizes.
