Are you concerned about electronic media use in your home? High tech devices and gadgets now consume more of our children’s time and attention. Most parents can relate to just how difficult it is to get kids to put down their games or their phones. You can be an advocate for the latest technology, and also question how much is too much. The real challenge is in striking a balance between technology and family life. In this workshop offered by Youth Eastside Services, parents will learn:
• The importance of setting limits around technology use
• How to monitor and set limits
• What to do to help children learn responsible behavior when they are online and/or using digital devices.
