Sponge invites families to a free cultural event in August at its center in Seattle. Families can try a beautifully crafted cake creation courtesy of Carol Herrarte, Spanish-speaking cake chef extraordinaire. The event will feature mini-Spanish language classes, and children can decorate their own piñatas. There will be singing and dancing, and a chance for parents to learn about Sponge.
