Take an evening stroll down a Jack O’Lantern lit path to a roaring bonfire, and get spooked as storytellers bring forth the spirits of the 19th century at Fort Nisqually Living History Museum. Bonfires, Beaver Pelts, and Bogeymen takes place Friday and Saturday, October 23 and 24, 7-9 pm.

The night starts out with milder, gentler stories. After an intermission of cider and cookies, children are permitted to take home any parents they don’t think will enjoy the more intense stories that follow.

Dress for the weather, as October nights can be as chilling as the stories! Some bleachers and benches are provided for seating, but blankets, tarps, and small lawn chairs are welcome. Please, no umbrellas.

This event is a fundraiser hosted by the Fort Nisqually Foundation, and all proceeds from this event support the Fort.

Tickets are $8 for adults, $6 for children (12 and under). Tickets are good for either night, rain or shine.

Discounted advance tickets go on sale Oct. 1st. (Adults $7 and Children $5) Advance tickets are valid either Friday or Saturday night.
